Welcome to Somatic Shift: Your Journey to Empowered Wellbeing –  five days of body and breathing practices to build resilience.

This week is designed to introduce you to new meaningful techniques to help you build a  stress management toolkit, support your personal growth, and improve your ability to self-regulate.

Incorporating a blend of breathing exercises, body-centred practices, mindfulness, and movement techniques can help to promote a balanced nervous system and support day to day resilience. Over these five days, we’ll be equipping you with new resources, techniques, and tools to integrate into your daily life. You’ll not only identify what resonates with you but also pinpoint areas where you’d like to dedicate more practice. By the end of this challenge, you’ll have a valuable library of concise practices to support you. 

This five-day programme  focuses on quick, simple yet powerful resources that can complement and sit alongside your existing routines. These techniques can be used multiple times a day, every day, enhancing your wellbeing with practices that are readily available even if you have just five minutes to spare.

These are some of my favourite practices, both personally and professionally, and I’m excited to share them with you. 

These exercises work on two levels. Practised regularly they proactively help to build resilience and support your nervous system so that you’re less likely to experience anxiety and overwhelm. Regular practice builds familiarity and this also lays the groundwork for you to be able to use them reactively in situations where your nervous system is highly activated and you need to downregulate at will. 

Over the course of the next five days you’ll receive an email each day with a video of me demonstrating a body or breathing technique for you to try out. You’ll have lifetime access to these videos so that you can bookmark and use them whenever you need.
